From June 13–14, 2026, the 2026 Construction Machinery Industry Technology Festival, jointly hosted by the China Construction Machinery Industry Association and Zhejiang University High-End Equipment Research Institute, will be held in Linping, Hangzhou.

 

Centered on the theme of “Construction Machinery + Intelligent Manufacturing · Robotics · Artificial Intelligence · New Energy,” the event will spotlight the industry’s transformation toward smarter, greener, and more integrated development.

 

At the festival, LiuGong will present a range of innovative products and technical solutions, demonstrating its latest breakthroughs in new energy systems, intelligent control, and high-mobility equipment.

 

High-Speed Loader: A Multi-Purpose “All-Round Warrior”

 

Designed for emergency rescue, disaster response, and military engineering applications requiring high mobility, LiuGong’s self-developed 856TE GSZ hybrid high-speed loader can reach speeds of up to 90 km/h.

 

The machine combines the agility of a high-speed vehicle with strong low-speed off-road capability, enabling rapid deployment, efficient operation, and stable maneuverability across complex working conditions.

 

 

Mobile Battery Swap Vehicle: Solving Electric Equipment Range Anxiety

 

LiuGong will also debut its mobile battery swap vehicle, integrating both battery transportation and swapping functions.

 

The vehicle features an innovative rear-to-rear lateral battery swapping technology, offering simple and efficient operation. It can carry up to three battery packs, allowing battery replacement for three machines in a single deployment.

 

 

Distributed Electric Drive Technology

Another major highlight will be LiuGong’s distributed magnetic wheel-side drive technology.

The system integrates permanent magnet motors, wheel-side reducers, motor controllers, energy storage systems, and multi-source vehicle posture sensors. By eliminating traditional components such as torque converters, transmissions, drive shafts, axles, and mechanical differentials, the technology enables independent speed and torque control for each wheel—significantly improving transmission efficiency and energy savings.

 

 

Onboard AI System: Smarter Machines with Self-Diagnosis

 

LiuGong will also conduct live demonstrations of its intelligent onboard AI system for construction machinery.

 

Powered by advanced AI large models and edge computing technology, the system enables intelligent assistance throughout the operation process, allowing machines to perform smarter decision-making and self-diagnostic functions.
