On December 10, as ZOOMLION's 2000t crawler crane slowly dropped its hook, the steel lining module 4 of the Hualong One Zhangzhou Nuclear Power Unit 3 was successfully hoisted into place. The hoisting process was safe and quality-controlled, injecting strong momentum into the promotion of the main project of the reactor building and the main key path work of the unit.

Module 4 is an important part of the nuclear island plant containment and is the safety guarantee for the operation of the reactor of Unit 3. The module consists of the 6th section of the containment cylinder of the nuclear island reactor building + the 7th section of the cylinder + 176 anchors, with an inner diameter of 46.8m, an overall height of 9.96m, an elevation of 19.955m in place, and a total hoisting weight of about 221.406t.

On the day of hoisting, ZOOMLION's 2000t crawler crane overcame many challenges such as large equipment mass, large windward area, and dense surrounding tower cranes. After a series of precise actions such as lifting, rotation, walking, and luffing, it was safely and smoothly connected to the lower steel lining, creating good conditions for subsequent hoisting work such as the inner containment and ring crane.

During the construction of the Zhangzhou Nuclear Power Project, ZOOMLION's cranes provided it with strong equipment support. In particular, nuclear power construction products such as 3200t crawler cranes have successfully completed dome hoisting tasks many times. Recently, the Zhangzhou Nuclear Power Unit 1, which was "crowned" by ZOOMLION's 3200t crawler crane, was successfully connected to the grid for the first time and began to supply power to the grid, marking a major progress in the mass construction of "Hualong One".
