On January 7, XCMG's first largest tonnage electric-driven horizontal directional drilling rig XZE16000 was delivered and shipped, which will assist the Songhua River natural gas pipeline project and complete the crossing project with a pipeline diameter of 1219mm and a length of 1600m.

The XZE16000 electric-driven horizontal directional drilling rig is one of the high-end intelligent equipment developed by XCMG. This product conforms to the trend of intelligence and greening, with an energy saving rate of more than 60%, and can complete the crossing construction of 2m diameter and 5000m at one time.

As the largest tonnage electric-driven horizontal directional drilling rig independently developed by XCMG, this equipment has attracted much attention since its debut at bauma CHINA 2024. At the event, customers expressed their affirmation of the quality of XCMG's products and services.

Previously, XCMG's ultra-large tonnage horizontal directional drilling rigs have provided solid guarantees for the laying and construction of key pipeline projects around the world. Among them, in the Minjiang River directional drilling crossing project, XCMG's XZE8200 electric drive horizontal directional drilling rig completed the laying of a pipeline with a total length of 2025m and a diameter of 1220mm×22mm in 48 days, overcoming the industry's "bottleneck problem". In the Linyi River directional crossing project, XCMG's XZ13600 horizontal directional drilling rig was successfully towed back once, and with a length of 1334.8m, it set the longest crossing record for 1219mm diameter rock directional drilling in Sinopec at that time. In the Hutuo River directional drilling crossing project, XCMG's XZ11000 horizontal directional drilling rig crossed with a depth of 37m and a length of 1757m, setting a new record for the domestic 1219mm large-diameter pipeline directional drilling crossing length at that time.
