ZOOMLION's independently developed series of power batteries have successfully passed all tests under the mandatory national standard GB38031-2025 “Safety Requirements for Power Batteries for Electric Vehicles,” becoming among the industry's first products to meet the new national standard. Through its forward-looking layout in green and electrified technologies, the company has established a new benchmark for battery safety performance in new energy construction machinery.

The new standard will take effect on July 1, 2026, imposing stricter requirements on battery safety features such as fire and explosion prevention. For instance, in thermal runaway observation tests, the monitoring period has been extended from 5 minutes to 2 hours, with smoke emissions prohibited from causing harm to occupants. In bottom impact tests, batteries must remain leak-free, maintain intact casings, and meet insulation resistance standards after simulating road debris collisions. In fast-charging cycle tests, batteries supporting 15-minute fast charging must pass safety verification after 300 cycles. ZOOMLION's series of power batteries have comprehensively passed all tests, leveraging their advantages of long lifespan, high safety, high strength, and short charging times.

Leveraging its end-to-end R&D and safety management capabilities across core “three-electric” components, system integration, and complete machinery, ZOOMLION has pioneered compliance with the new national standards, demonstrating its formidable expertise in battery safety technology. Currently, the company's self-developed series of power batteries are widely deployed in various road and off-road equipment, including pure electric mixer trucks, high-horsepower tractors, loaders, and wide-body mining trucks, with cumulative vehicle mileage exceeding one million kilometers.
